I have about 700′ of VG Fir to install. I’m using Danish oil as a finish, and I’d like to apply it before installing the trim.
So far, I’ve applied the oil with a rag, but I’d like to do something a little faster. I’ve considered using a small pump sprayer or even buying a HVLP sprayer.
Any suggestions?

I've sprayed I don't know how many gallons of Watco through a small Wagner airless. I'm sure it would be fine with an HVLP, too. Just use the needle for real thin material. I generally use a large brush to flood coat anything I don't spray, then wipe it off with rags.
Watco (natural?) on VG Fir (have to bow my head when I say that). You're talkin' my language man.
Thanks. I may just try the big brush first.
And, yes, it's Watco natural. The worst part is that you have to wait for that wood to change color...
Even when it's fresh, yellow and red, it looks great. But when it ages to that orange, red and auburn...beautiful. Where are you at?
