Looks good. I can see why the "Panic" pic is labelled as such. Glad it turned out great.
yup looks great, even with the yellow walls:)

Trust me, about February those yellow walls will be a psychological lifesaver. It only rains twice here, but each time it is for 3-4 months. Since the sky is drab, we compensate with brightly colored houses and gardens.
This I understand. I'm in the northeast corner of ohio about 200 yards from lake erie. After summer the sun will shine once in a while and February is the endurance test. Get those inside projects lined up:)Half of good living is staying out of bad situations.

When I lived in Cleveland, we referred to February as the three months of winter between January and March. I still remember the blizzards of 77 and 78, which explains my move to Chapel Hill soon after. I still haven't gotten used to the fact that cars don't rust away in 5 years.
Once I started spending time in Oklahoma I got spoiled by the shape of the bodies of the vehicles that had never seen salt. Now anytime I'm ready for a serious used car/truck purchase I head south.Half of good living is staying out of bad situations.

Bob,
Really nice job. I hope you don't have to work that hard on all of your projects to get your wifes approval.....sounds like my wife....does she have a sister from Cinti.?
If you do any more floors contact me and I'll send you some more aggessive paper, stuff your rental yard doesn't want you to have. The less aggressive paper they sell you, the more of it they can sell and the longer you have the machine.
Again, nice work you should be proud of yourself. BTW, my wife says keep the yellow paint and white trim.

So was that about as much chatter in "panic" as I described over the phone? I was not a happy camper. They now have some 24 grit paper at the rental place, but I'm going to see if they will service the machine and get the rubber pads replaced if they are bad. They were starting to pull off when I removed paper the second time I rented the machine. Plus, I need to see how bad the other floors are before I attck them
Woodie,
That's a lot of chatter, maybe a couple of sandings worth. We see a lot of chatter like that in my area. Most of my refinish jobs are on really old floors, and only God knows who's been there before me.Ditch
