Hi All,
New to the forum & website, I have a first time bid on a small job, if anyone has any suggestions/pointers, I’d be grateful.
The 3-sided structure that contains bay windows on the second & third floor of a house need to be resheathed & finished on the exterior. Oh yeah, second & third floor are above the porch roof.
Currently, on the outside, there is just painted plywood which has swelled, buckled, and begun to get dryrot! Interior walls of the bedroom have started to get waterdamage. This all needs to be removed, asses the framing of the wall(fix/replace?), resheath, wrap, final exterior portion could go one of two ways, shingle, or exterior grade ply with decorative boarder. That’s an aesthetic/financial call on the part of the homeowner.
I’ve searched about a bit in the “breaktime discussion” for a similar post, nothing yet, as i said if anyone has pointers/suggestions I’d appreciate hearing from you.
thanks all!

OK, I'll get the ball rolling. Are you a contractor? Do you know what needs to be done and how to do all of it? How long will it take? What materials are needed and how much will they cost?
