Fixing stucco erosion and shallow flashing.

Hi-
Fixing up a house that has decades of deferred maintenance.
It has this ridge of stucco that goes between the first and second floor. The top of the stucco has eroded – and the original flashing was too small – and water is getting getting in behind stucco.
We found this because the upper window jambs inside the house were rotting. Luckily the structure itself is cinderblock but I am still concerned.
If you were in my shoes how would you handle it?

Easy answer,
Start at the bottom and replace/repair everything that’s bogus.
In other words, do the job as it should have been done.
You mention the “upper window jambs” as rotting, but I don’t see a picture of that. Did you mean the upper parts of the lower openings?
