Flashing Velux skylights on standing seam roof
Hi
We’re building an A-frame and we decided to put some skylights on the roof. We picked the small velux deck mounted fixed skylights (FS A06) as well as the Velux flashing kit EDM for metal roofing. Our roof is Everlast Everseam. I’ve been reading the velux instructions for the flashing kit and i’m not understanding how this can work with the roof system we have. Does anyone have experience with these ?
Is there a way to overlap these kind of roof panels ?
Thanks

Please provide links to the pcs. of your puzzle so we don’t have to search.
Easy answer might be to use a curb and install the skylight to it.
Putting details of materials below. After doing more research, regardless of the method (using a curb or using the velux kit), where i'm stuck is how to overlap panels - how to cut the standing seam - in a way that is watertight
Here's the roof :

Skylight (FS A06, deck mounted, installed already)

Velux flashing kit EDM - that link has a 30 year old installation video that doesnt really answer my questions
