Rick, I used a product from Hydroment called ultra-set which is approved for use over gypcrete. The installation is 14 months old and have had no problems. The product was recommended by the Thermafloor contractor and I used it to meet their warranty specs.

I just read a post that stated that thinset is not compatible with qypcrete.
I am a doityourselfer, completing a house addition.
The plan was to install tile in the entryway.
The entryway is radiant floor heated--- the tubes are flooded with gypcrete. I had planned on a total or ½ IN for tile plus thinset(or whatever).
If thinset is indeed incompatible with gypcrete, what do you-all advise??
Thanks very much,
Rick
