I have a house on a slab with vynal in the kitch and carpent in the remainder of the first floor. I am looking at options for different flooring. I am limited to “thin” in the kitchen area.
My question is what is the maximum heigh difference that can I have been flooring products without a trip hazard. Mu guess is that with the proper tranission that I can get by with 1″, but that 2/3″ would be much better.
And what kind of a slope do I need on the transistion piece, what about 30 degrees.
Thanks, Bill
