Does such a thing exist? I want one for my Bosch jigsaw. Not available locally, Amazon has only sets of blades, pictures too small to see if they contain flush cut blades.

Dewalt just introduced some new jigsaws, and one of the selling points was the flush cutting ability - but looking at the pictures, I don't see why the new dewalt blade wouldn't work on the Bosch jigsaw.

I scored some of those blades on ebay. I had to pull the blade guard off my 1590. It is a little wire that is pressed into two holes with loc-tite. It re-installed and has not fallen out yet.

I recently got that new jig saw, and with it came the blade of which you speak. That thing is awesome. I have an old barrel grip Bosch, I'll have to see if the DW blade fits it, but I can't see why not.Spheramid Enterprises Architectural Woodworks

Bit of a Hi-Jack but do you or anybody else remember a Craftsman jig saw from the late sixties that came with an adapter for flush cutting? Saw had oil-lite bushings , one on each side of the main shaft. Adapter clamped to the main shaft shaft and a post inserted into the bushings. Allowed a standard blade to be used out at the very edge of the side of the sole plate. I had one , loved the thing, I could flush cut all along the sink back if needed. It finally died sometime into the early 90's. Never have seen another like it.

I think in '68 I was 8..still playing with Black and Decker, I didn't get Craftsman tools till I was 12..but I don't remember that attachment.
