Foam insulation in Michigan

Hi All
I’d like to know if anyone has recently used closed cell foam to insulate your house in Michigan?
1 What was your experience (did it perform as expected)?
2 What type of wall construction did you have (2×6, flash and batt, etc.)?
3 What are the code requirments for insulating a new home in Michigan?

...i have not done any of that insulation in MI but i will tell you that if installed correctly it will perform at least as well as it is expected to.

That kind of insulation has a high R-value and will increase your insulation and temp. levels signifigantly. I have not used it in Michigan but I do know it works. If you want more info I know univfoam.com has a variety of insulation options and maybe that will help you out? I agree that you can find the codes online, it just might take some research.
