can i install 1/2 rigid foam to framing then osb nailed through to studs etc. we are using r&r red ceder shingles also what about tyvek in this wall system thanks for the help

By spacing out from your framing with the foam, you loose the shear value of the OSB and it simply becomes a nailing surface.
Keep the OSB to the studs, and put the foam on the outside. You don't say where you are from, but in most climates 2" is a better choice (or 1.5" where you are just using the OSB on the corners of the house).
Since you are using shingles, being able to dry is an important detail. Havin a rainscreen that allows water to drain is important, as is using a building paper that is good for wood shingles. Tyvec has been know to fail when shingles are nailed directly to it.
