I was rushing out of the shop with an armload of stuff yesterday morning and managed to knock a box of trim staples off the finish
nail shelves. A few other things joined the avalanche but it didn’t look urgent so I put off the cleanup. Back much later that day I
thought to straighten up. Yikes! A full can of spray foam was invlolved and had some how suffered a small hole. The blob had
consumed a few strips of staples and was inching it’s way around an electric motor. Could have been worse. I expect to be more
mindful in the future of canned foam stoage/transport.

Could have been worse. You could have come in and found the shop foamed in to the rafters.
You can probably sell the staples on craigslist, list them as "insulated staples, approximate R-6 insulating value".
Easily get a couple hundred dollars for them.
Don't forget to file for the patent.
