Our builder poured our porches (front and back) too low and want to correct the height with “blocking” – they want to raise it up with cinder block and brick over it. Is this a viable solution? What would be the proper way to do this?

How are the blocks bonded to the slab and/or each other? In any case that would be a big "No" if it were my house.
