Hi all…this is my first post here.

I am beginning the home building process and I am very interested in using frameless glass doors for my front entry.  I am considering double doors that are similar to those you might find on a commercial building…just big pieces of glass with a chrome handle and kickplate.  The locking mechanism would be at the bottom of the door…or perhaps a magnetized locking system with keypad entry.

Here are my questions:

I dont even know where to beging looking for such a door…any thougts?

How big of a challenge is this going to be for my builder?

Have you ever seen the use of such commercial doors in a residential setting?
