I’m currently a carpenter living in Ma. I have a good background in finish work, but want to become more proficient in framing. I have also been pestering my wife to move to Fla. She suggested to me to kill two birds with one stone. If I can work during the two hottest months (July and August) and add to my skill set (framing) while still loving Florida, then we can pack up the family and move. I’ve been to a few different areas in Fla. already and prefer the West Coast area, but am open to suggestions. I can provide references that will convince you to give me a try. I am a smart, hard worker who has supervisory experience. If you give me a try, I will not dissapoint you. Money is secondary at this point, I WANT to LEARN.
Thanks for looking,,,,Bob LaMountain

Bob,
As much as I hope your Florida venture works out, if you end up staying in MA or coming back to MA let me know. I could use a guy like you who already knows the basics, has the capacity and desire to learn more..... and has an eye for finish. My guys are good but I'm still the only one who touches the exterior trim... could use a hand. But I do wish you the best in sunny FLA.
Thanks, I've seen alot of your posts, and would like to work for someone like you as well. If Fla. doesnt work, I'll definately try and hook up with you.
From all I have heard, SW Fla near Ft meyers and Naples is where the job market is hot. There are lots of jobs in the state, but there are counties where you are lucky to get 9-10/hr and other places where hacks can draw 20 or more.

I have a frame company in Jax FL, are you still looking to come to Florida?
You should reply to the bob in the first message of this thread to be sure he sees it.
