I picked this out of the garbage. I thought I saw a couple go for several hundred, but I see a lot on Craigs and ebay struggling at a buck and a half.
Free to anyone that I KNOW from here.
I’m 60 miles north of NYC, you will have to pick it up.
It is in very good condition.

Now THAT is a bicycle that -=I=- would ride !!
Too bad you live so far away.
I'm gonna grow me some wings. And I'll learn how to fly !
It's practically unrideable.
Way bad design functionally.[email protected]
This would help.

I could imagine him doing that.
I heard that!

wish you were closer, when walmart was selling those i wanted one just to hang on my shop wall and remind myself of being a kid! surley you'll have some takers on a deal like this. larry
if a man speaks in the forest, and there's not a woman to hear him,is he still wrong?
If anyone's interested in one of those bikes for a kid, you should know that they weigh forty+ pounds. The big rear wheel and super fat rear tire are part of it. And, as you can see, the rear frame section is overbuilt too. A BMX bike, it ain't. Hard to get moving and harder yet, going up hill.

That's my thought too. It may look cool, but I bet it rides awful.

When, in the past, has function ever hindered fashion?
Ron
It hasn't but it's good information to know if someone plans on giving this to a small kid. Odds are the kid won't have much fun riding it.

I didn't mean to imply any criticism of you or what you said. I meant that as a general comment on living on this planet.

It's yours as long as you don't smash a milkshake on my chest!
God, I love this place!
I'm about 2 miles north of where Rte 84 crosses 684 at it's end. I'm just off of Rte 22 near the Red Rooster, Ski Haus, not far south of Thunder Ridge.
This is not a bike for a kid to ride, it's a show thing dust collector.
I would consider you one of the BT'rs I know.[email protected]

That's cool....I've actually described you to the wife as "one of my Breaktime buds"..
After all the years on this site, I still don't think she has wrapped her head around what the heck this place is all about. She always says stuff like "next time your talking to your internet friends"...with the air quotes around friends.
I'm sure you don't want that thing takin' up space at your place any longer than necessary....so I'll try and figure a time real soon when I can get up there and grab it from you.
Mebbe have to bring up some Walters sweet spuds as payment.

AKA Birch Hill? When we were a young Lad in the 70s We took Win, Show & Place a few times in the HS Downhill events. Is the sliding any Good this season?
Sure have a lot of good memories of the local hills , Beacon, Big Tupper, Fawnstock, Locke Ledge & Catamount to name a few. Also bough a few planks from Ski Haus along with Tom Cat in Mahopac?
Yes, formerly known as Birch Hill. The paved road that parallels the ski run is of that name still.
One of my favorite climbs on the bike. I am not a skier.
Catamount is still, Fahenstock I think is all X Country, the others not sure of.
Ski Haus still here, Tom Cat sounds familiar but I don't think exists any longer.[email protected]
My "ole lady" would look good riding behind me on that bike. but shes gonna have to lose a little weight first..... ride to live....live to ride
Have her start by you sitting behind, she can get a work out and lose a few lbs.
They can't get your Goat if you don't tell them where it is hidden.
I would put her on the handlebars but thats where my basket of flowers are going
Don't forget to use the clothes pin to fasten the playing cards to the frame so they make the rumble in the spokes.
;-)
