A couple of weeks ago had a friend of mind help me install some trusses. As he was putting on the frieze blocks he rolled them a the proper angle. But he forgot to raise them up flush to the top roof rafter. Now for the question. Can I put some wood strips on top to bring them up to the rafter? Or can I just fill it in with some construction adhesive. I think the shortest one might be a inch. I can see I will have a gap between the frieze block and the roof sheathing? What is the solution? What's the purpose of these frieze blocks? Are they trims or just spacer blocks and for nailing trim to later? Will there be a soffit? or exposed rafters? Will the attic be ventilated? Is it on a barn, shed, or home?

Purpose is for vent for attic and spacer for trusses. And it is a shop. Thanks Hat
So if you make'm tight to top, then you just have to puch holes in them to install little old vents. Leave open and staple screen to back side for bugs and use no vent pieces to save money.

No soffit, for say. I have the trusses on the top plate. Antd the frieze blocks as spacers and vent holes in every other one. With the screen over the vent holes. And the sheathing was supose to cover up the void. But as I said he put them on the bottom of the plate instead of bringing them even with the roof rafter. I hope this explains everything. Thanks Hat
Yeah, for a shop, I'd just screen the gap and quit worrying.
