Can someone in Florida provide info or a link on the current code requirements in Florida for framing gable roof overhangs?

I’m not doing any work in Florida, but would like to upgrade the details that I usually use, which is 2×4 lookouts at 32″ on center, with the rafter at the wall line notched to receive the lookouts.  The lookout then runs to the first interior common rafter.  A short piece of 2×6 is then nailed to each lookout and to the fly rafter and to the rafter at the wall line.

Just wondering how this is done in Florida these days.
