Am working on a project in snowy country of eastern CA and debating using the above type roofing instead of more expensive metal alternatives or comp shingles.
The house is meant to look weathered, and am thinking of acid-washing galvanized roofing to knock off the shine, use them in short panel lengths and lapping them, as in the days of old.
Anyone out there done such a thing? If so, would like to hear pros and cons or other methods to achieve same effect.
Thanks!
