I live in Denver, Colorado, and I use my garage as a wood shop. I have insulated walls covered with drywall, and I heat the garage with a gas furnace. My concern is that the ceiling is open (exposed rafters and roof drywall). I would like to maintain the open nature of the ceiling for moving long board around and storage, but wonder about how to insulate this better so I don’t lose as much heat. Any suggestions?

IMHO i belive you could try ridgid foam insulation, it will at least do something
I'm just sayin'
I thought about trying rigid foam insulation, too. If I created a way for air to flow around it, I would think it would add some benefit. I'll just have to try it and see. Thanks for the feedback.
no prob
