Guys,
For an incredibly elaborate and bizarre reason which is too complex to describe here, I’d like to make the garage door wall button for the opener only work when the door to the house is closed.
I was thinking if I took a magnetic switch such as those used for security systems and wired it in-line bewteen the opener and button, that would only allow the opener to work from the wall push button when the door was closed…Correct?
They’re both low voltage so I would think it would work?
Now you all know why jobs take me so long…Too many “creative improvements”.
