Has anyone used the garage floor epoxy coatings on the market now? I saw them at Lowes and wondered about the durability. The 2 brands there, were from Rustoleum and Valspar. Just wanted to know if you are satisfied with the product and its performance. Thanks-Jay

I used the Behr system (cleaners, primer and epoxy paint) and got excellent results. This was on a new garage floor. Two years later it still looks great and is virtually undamaged. It appears to be impervious to everything I've managed to spill on it so far, including brake fluid, carb cleaner, and brake cleaner.
Surface prep took a long time (gotta follow the steps on the etch), and it's critical that you don't leave any thick spots or puddles in the primer. Still I'm really pleased with the results. I think Home Depot still sells it.
