My house was constructed in 1958 and the garage floor slopes from the middle towards the outer walls. It does slope from front to back. There isn’t a step up to keep water from the vehicles in the parking area and it runs off toward the walls. I am looking for suggestions for ways to channel water out the garage door so it doesn’t do more damage to the walls.

Apart from levelling the floor with the proper slope, you might want to check out the ribbed garage floor mats. While I haven't tried them, if the slope to your walls isn't too severe, it would seem the ribs in the mats would cause the water to make it to the door before the walls. I last saw them for around $200.

I just used this to reslope my geerage floor. Then I topped it with:
