A customer of mine would like to have a couple of garden windows installed. Anyone got a favorite brand? One that doesn’t leak?

I usually try to talk customers out of garden windows. I've only seen one that I thought was decent - the top opened to allow heat/humidity to escape. Every one I've seen over the past several years has two dinky openings at the bottom which do nothing about the heat and humidity that collects at the top.
If you install one (or more), make sure that you nail it off so it can expand/contract. I recently replaced a double paned garden window that had drywall screws driven tightly into every hole in the nailing fins. To add to the fun, it was on the south wall of the house. The HO had thought that it was just an el-cheapo window until I explained that the installation had locked the frame in place and that several years of expansion/contraction had finally destroyed the seals.
David--what's a 'garden window'? (Sorry....)

But it is not this day.
