Does anyone know of a male plug for a 30 amp circuit which can be used for a generator plug-in (with interlock at teh panel) which can be recesssed inside a wall? Obviously you can buy a box and plug which can be surfaced mounted, and many people do that. But I wish to have one recessed in teh wall inside the garage so that a generator can be temporarily stationed outside teh garage door with a short cord to teh plug inside. looking for a clean install.

At an electrical supply house you can probably get the inlet without the box. But you really need a transfer switch to make this safe and legal.
