This post is apparently the latest one so I’m hoping for some current valid info. Our dome is 37 years old and going strong. However, it’s time for a new roof! Had one roofer come out but as I’m sure many of you know – they don’t want to touch it. Does anyone have valid info on contractors for geodesic dome roofs? I need any info including pricing and availability. Hopeful for good info!

In the past 37 years waterproofing technology has improved greatly. Liquid applied roofing is common in commercial applications. Find a roofer who includes commercial work in their offerings and you shouldn't have a problem. What sort of roof is on there now? Shingles? Nobody would shingle a dome today.
