I'm going to assume you know the construction part.
Question is, do you know the business part?
Anyone can start a construction business, joke used to be a pickup with a level in the gun rack. Making that business last, especially in this economy, is the hard part.
There are countless parts that you can get advice on.
Here's one I've found to be very important. Choose your subs well and take care of them. Be ready when you say you will. Don't pack a bunch of them in a room and pay them promptly. Ask for their proof of insurance and get their tax id number. This is a business remember.
Best of luck.
Thanks for the advice!
From a client's perspective: Don't try to feed me any bs. And, especially, don't ever ever ever lie to me.
