When providing power for a sump pump you are putting an outlet near water. Is a GFCI going to be OK with the sump pump motor? I am wondering if the start-up of the motor could cause false tripping or something.
This is kind of like the outlet for your garbage disposal. Can it be on a GFCI circuit or not?
