I can’t find my original post so here’s a new one.
I did the candle test to see if there was a different colored reflective image that would determine if the glass was low E and there wasn’t. Each of the images was the same color as the other. I also went around the window with a candle on a windy day to see how much air infiltration there was and I couldn’t detect any.
Now I’m wondering if I can just replace the existing glass with the low E variety. The window is a bay with a double hung on either end and I’d like to replace all the glass. Would doing this be more of a headache than it’s worth?
