Have not done much framing for a while and my hands are not in good shape after a week. Swelled up a lot more than usual. Could be the new treated lumber or just old age. Maybe should start wearing gloves. I’ve seen some of these fancy new rubbery things. Any good?

If I have it right you mean the showa gloves, made I believe by Ansel.
They are good gloves. I am using them at the moment with a polypropelene pair underneath for the cold.
They are tougher than they look. I have noticed a few of the timberyard guys using them now for handling treated timber.
Everything, 100% of it, depends on how you look at it.

Those were what I was thinking about. Worth a try. Might save me a few bucks worth of ibuprofen.
