Mike,
You are doing some nice work. Is this the same project as the bay roofs?
Chuck S
No Chuck that is some trim for my house that has taken 10 years for me to get around to making here are some more pictures of plenty more unfinished projects around my house some cherry window trim and ceiling in the dining room some wainscoting on the stairs, a stan foster inspired spiral stair and some of the curved casing installed it has taken awhile because of so much going on but it's paid for so that helps.
sorry about the quality of the pics they are what i had handy.

That is some mighty fine work. Looks good.
You are a craftsman. We have a dying trade. Most carpenters nowadays are glorified installers.
Chuck Slive, work, build, ...better with wood

Believe it or not mike he's just turned five in that picture and loves to go to work with me every chance he gets. he was three when he got on his first roof and we used fall protection he didn't like it to well. we only let him on shallow pitch roofs usually above a lesser pitch porch roof as in this case. with him feeding me shingles we could keep up with two experianced roofers.
That's cool! It brings back fond memories of working with my dad. I remember him letting me drive the p/u around the jobsite to go get more this and that when I was only 10. I have worked along side of him since I could remember, I don't have any memories not working with him at any age. It warms my heart to see any child working along side their parent. It really teaches children a lot of things that I think are lost on todays generation.
And just for the record, i wasn't scolding you with that post, just joshin' ya.......
I hope you 2 have a long career together.

Thanks Mike I hope his memories are as fond as yours!
Only if you make him work more than 72 hours a week. Bob's next test date: 12/10/07
