Anyone have any hot leads on gold fleck laminate? The stuff right out of the fifties. I can find some boomerang pattern, which is a little too retro but I would use it if I had to. Also, any suggestions for metal edgeband would be appreciated. Or if anyone has a time machine I could borrow… Thanks in advance

A-holes. Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.
I believe one of the laminate producers is bringing that back in stock. I saw it in a trade or ho magazine recently. Formica reintroduced the boomerang some years back, so it may be that they'll have the gold dust as a special order.
Try some of the other players if you already haven't: Wilsonart, Pionite, Nevamar, Laminart and one other Italian mfr I can't remember...starts with an A, I think. They got some really funky stuff!
Good luck!
