Same question, different folder. We’re installing underlayment for kitchen linoleum. We already have five boxes of vintage ring-shank nails we’re looking to use somewhere, 1 3/4″ 34 gauge double zinc dipped. The box says they are asbestos siding anchor face nails, resists stains, streaks and rust, in exterior use. What do you think? How good did they make nails 50 0r 60 years ago, (or more maybe, these are cool-looking old boxes)? I don’t wnat discolarations bleeing thrugh my ligh flooring next year.
