Anyone know a good source/brand of hardened bits. Looking to get phillips #2, mix of torx, etc.
I was browsing Wihatools.Com Today. They have *kings ransom* bits over there going for $4.50 and more.
Don’t need bulk….just quality bits. I have used some T-10 and T-5 bits that were soft like butter.

John- Wow, what do you use #5 torx for? I've used a lot of #10t for trim screws and they are already pretty small. I've never put out the money for the high priced bits, so I'd be curious to know, too- just always bought multiple bits so I wouldn't run out. IMHO #2 phillips bits very often do not seem to fit the way they are supposed to- even when you've made the effort to match the bit to the recess type, ie. 'standard', 'reduced shouler', 'drywall', etc.. And then if the fit is less than perfect the bits start slipping and camming out of the fastener head and it just goes downhill from there. Always been a frustration for me, primarily with the phillips. As a result I prefer to go with square and torx, esp. when I want to apply some torque.

*Several years ago I got some sample "RemGrit" screwdrivers and bits at a trade show. Boy do those bits grip. Problem on drywall was they wouldn't release and i was overdriving them. They are great for deck screws and because they didn't slip they wear forever. I've finally lost or wore them all out and would like to get more. Still have two 1/4" flat tips. Does anyone have a source for them. I know RemGrit is still around, saw some hole saws just the other day.
