I was looking through my stuff and didn’t find any decent language for a form I want to create. I want to have the clients sign acceptance forms for certain aspects of their jobs such as painting, tile work, flooring, roofing etc. I plan on withholding payment on any of these sub-contracts under the terms of our sub-contract agreement until the client accepts the work.

I had to write one recently. It was kind of hard (I never had to write one either). I think I basically reiterated what I said in the contract including disclaimers and pay schedules. I also mentioned the deposit as far as when I got it and how much it was for.
Here's a copy. Its in MS works.

The doc is probably nowhere near a full legal doc but it got the job done.

That is somewhat what I want. I want to give the project manager a walkthough checklist for items like paint, caulk etc and have a space for the homeowner to also check it off and agree that it is done right. I guess no one is doing this sort of thing and I'll create my own. Thanks for sharing.
Jim, I've got a copy of the 8 page walk through/orientation/acceptance document that DH's company uses. It includes Acknowedgement of Orientation, and Documents Received at Pre-Closing Orientation (homeowner maintenance, emergency repairs, owner's manuals, etc.)
The trouble is I have only have a paper copy. (Not one on the computer.) PM me your addy, and I'll mail it today.

I've received that document from you today. Thank you. Do you want me to send the pdf by email to you or post it here?
Glad to hear you got it. I hope there something in there that you can use.
I'd really appreciate a pdf. copy if it's no trouble. Thanks, Jim.
Also, go ahead and post it here. Someone else might find it (or parts of it) useful.
