got a vinyl question

i’ve done tons of wood siding but never vinyl. Doing my first vinyl job soon. Here’s a question about using vinyl lineals for window trim. I’ll be trimming new construction windows (With nailing flange) picture frame style–no sill horns. Best to use a butt-style joint on these casings or a miter?
