Grace Roof Detail Membrane for Door Flashing?

Grace’s Vycor Plus is not available at any local retailers near my house but their Roof Detail membrane is. The Vycor is 25 mil, the Roof Detail membrane is 40. Any reason I cant just use the Roof Detail to flash an entry door? Thanks, Mike

    One thing to consider would be the compatibility of the flashing to the products it comes in contact with.  In the case of a door sill flashing-can't think of any.

    for instance you wouldn't use a petroleum based membrane w/rubber or vinyl.

    The best for a door or window pan is something you can flex around corners for your overflash of the base of the pan flashing.
