Luka had made it known of some needs for building supplies.
One neighbor was replacing a deck due to some local rot, another redoing their kitchen, they were happy to ‘donate’ (dump fees here are $80 a ton) .
There was even one 20 ft clear 2×10 in the load with no rot. When I told the other neighbor that I had a friend who needed flooring, he went to the effort of pulling as much of his 1 ft sq marble floor up intact as possible, about 120 sq ft came up intact.
A few gallons of paint, shop vac, and probably literally a ton of lumber kept from the landfills.
TRUE building GREEN!!!!

Art,
I just got home.
Just wanted to say thanks.

I swear, there are more than 3 or 4 pieces there that are probably reuseable... LOL
;o)
I still say your idea about the 1x3's was a great idea.

The 4x6 is exactly what I was thinking of, for part of the support under the rear of the trailer.
This is certainly going to help. Thanks again.
