Hi, I am planning to renovate my home. I want to enhance its eco credentials. Energy efficient windows replacement and energy efficient door replacement is what I’m planning to do. But before proceeding I would like to know the opinion on using Low-E glass windows and weatherstripping doors from you. Also please tell me whether there is any alternative method available. Thanks in advance.

Pay attention to sealing. It's not unusual for windows to be replaced with "high efficiency" units that leak worse than the originals, because they were installed so poorly.
