Anybody else out there bought the “Grip Wrench”? I thought it would work wonders on the chrome fittings for my clawfoot tub. What a joke, I actually started laughing when I tried them it was so pathetic. How do you tighten those chrome fittings anyways? I mean you can’t put a pipe wrench to em. Whats the trick?

I ended up using slip joint pliers w/ the rubber on the grip wrench.
they also make a slip joint wrench with no teeth on it, and a fella can glue strips of red rubber gasket material to the jaws and not mar a thing. rg
