So I read through the archives – the consensus seems to be Fein Mulitimaster for grout removal. Question – which blade? I found a picture, but the exact blade being used is unclear. thanks

I think it also comes in a segmented version which would get into corners a little easier.
The weather was hot, a-nearly 90 degrees.
The man standin' next to me, his head was exploding,
Well, I was prayin' the pieces wouldn't fall on me.
Of course, they come in different thicknesses also...are your grout lines thin or thick??
I did a small 3x5 (floor area) bathroom - the whole floor - and burned through 2 blades.

3/16" grout. My crew destroyed a few tiles with the RotoZip. Lasted about 5 minutes before the bit started smoking. Obviously not the tool for the job, so I'm looking for a professional tool that really works."I needed a drink, I needed a lot of life insurance, I needed a vacation, I needed a home in the country. You don't have the grinder attachment with yours?
I did quite a large area with mine with the $5 carbide blade. Worked great!
More $5 blades available at HD too.

If your grout lines are narrow and your goal is to re-grout, you can scrape it out with a hardie board scribing tool.
Fein Multimaster diamond blade works well, but slow.
For wide grout joints, 1/4" or more, there is a grout blade available online for recip saws. Faster than MM, but more difficult to control and won't get into corners like MM
