Hello,
I moved into a house that has beautiful sealed concrete floors. The concrete was poured leaving lines for grout so that it will look like tile when the project is completed.
The previous owner sealed the tile before he got around to installing the grout. I now would like to install the grout, but I have a question or two… Should I remove the sealer before I install the grout, so that the grout adheres better, or should I leave the sealer on to protect the concrete, then strip and reseal the concrete and grout at one time?
Just for info – the bottom of the grout lines are fairly rough, so there is something for the grout to hold onto, even with the sealer left intact. I’m worried that if I strip the sealer off the concrete before I install the grout, the grout will leach into the concrete.
Any thoughts?

just grout on top of the sealer, thats what I did.
