Is there a way to remove a gutter without destroying it? I need to slope it the correct direction. I thought about a sawsall to cut off the nails but I don’t have one.

Use one hammer or prybar to get under the head of the spike, hold, then hit it with the one in your other hand.
Blue bar works pretty well for this.

That sounds too simple. Now I'm embarrassed that I even asked. I'll be trying it tonight.
Thanks,
Oh, nothing is ever as simple as it seems, ey?
Hope it works."Research is what I'm doing when I don't know what I'm doing..."
Just to make sure you're clear on this, hit the wrecking bar with the hammer; don't use two hammers. You should never smack one carpenter's hammer with another. The steel is too brittle for that and can chip. (They are not made of the same kind of steel as ball-peen hammers.)

Thanks dad."Research is what I'm doing when I don't know what I'm doing..."
I like to cut the nail in half with some bolt cutters then pop all the heads out and remove the gutter. No chance of damaging the gutter. Once the gutter is down, pull the rest of the nail out. To rehang use replacement gutter screws (square bit drive) They hold better and you can use the same hole.

That's almost exactly what my wife said. "Just go up there and cut the nail in the middle and slide the gutter off" She's a good one. I'll pickup some of those screws.
Thanks,
That's a good idea.
Replacing with screws especially.
I hate gutter spikes..."Research is what I'm doing when I don't know what I'm doing..."
