I reconfigured some instruments in my panel. I installed dual cylinder head temp gauges and replaced the exhaust temp gauge. This was taken while enroute to the 22000 foot home posted elsewheres. The guages show 1150 degrees exhaust, 275 degrees cylinder head temps. and 170 degrees water temp. I am running 6070 rpm’s, rotor speed is 350 rpm, that little red yaw string in front of the windshield should be pointing straight back but with me fidgeting with the camera, its was showing that I needed a little more right rudder. The GPS instrument shows I am offcourse a little due to my camera fumbling.

Is it possible to put your hand in the prop arc while flying? Just wondering, prop arcs scare me.
thanks,
Ken
just saw an ad the other day for one with contra-rotating twin rotors. it's supposed to be really simple to fly. gee, and only gonna be about $50k when they actually go on the market. looks like one helluva fun way to bust your a$$!

Ken: The only way to get into the prop would have to be done on purpose. There is no need to reach behind the seat.
