I am trying to be fair to my wife Barb. When I built my first single place gyrocopter….I got her a new dining room table and hutch. When I built my two seater….I put her in a new kitchen.
Now that I am building another gyro….she is getting a new garden shed. She loves my building gyros. <G>
Jeff came over today and we set the microlam..cut and installed the rafters…and sheated two rows.

and a few hundred sq/ft less lawn to mow.
Gotta hand it to you Stan
it that real grass, too green for real. thats the fake stuff that lowes sells in the carpet dept.
She planning on setting up grow lights in there and doing some year-round gardening? That's gotta be 'bout the biggest garden shed I've seen (unless it's really a tractor barn masquerading as a shed - LOL).
I know well the benefit of a few well-placed projects - amazing what a walk-in closet with a big shoe rack will get ya, for example. Good to see you've got the balance thing down!
Were you involved in the block wall phase of your house ?
Is that veneer or does it also serve as part of the structure ?
Sorry about the subject detour but I couldn't help noticing the house wall.My barber was telling me yesterday how to pay attention to the condition of the barber pole at a barber shop.
If it's in sloppy condition, do go in.Well, from the looks of your lawn/house/fence, you must be a fine stair builder.
The split face blocks are not supporting. I added on to my garage a few years ago and couldnt find any brick to match the rest of my brick. So we decided to go this way. It blends in well with the rest of the house.

Noting the corn field next to the garden shed makes me think, "build Barb a shed and they will come". Who though???
