Ok…I am secretly trying to turn this into a rotorcraft forum. Ha.
Anyway….I gave my camera to a friend as I was doing some spot landings. Thats where you try to land right on a line…or within a few feet…….

Stan I am admiring your skill...now just imagine flying a F-18 at night@250knots on final approach over the Atlantic(carrier landing) with ocean swells at 10-15 feet. Your touchdown position becomes very critical, and what I have been told the pucker factor can overwhelm.
The touch required to do this with your rotocraft consistanly probably is much harder then it looks. This practise in fix winged is very important..keep it up. stinky
Stinky: It takes a little practice to get the timing right....and the feel of the glide slope.....but it cant be anywheres close to the skill level landing on an aircraft carrier.

Stan, good to see you doing what you enjoy. Hope all is well.
Please keep on posting the pictures, they are a breath of fresh air.
