I was out flying Saturday and nothing beats the observation platform than a rotorcraft…especially a gyrocopter. I was flying a ditch and saw a pile of something…so did an immediate turn around and saw a pile of 8-9 pigs alongside a ditchbank. The first picture shows them,..although not very close. You can see the tracks where the vehicle backed up to dump the pigs.
Its going to be good eating for the coyotes..possums and turkey buzzards.

Stan, I saw an article from the 30's or so about a Senator in DC that was a real proponent of 'airplane gyrocopters'. I was like an airplane with the wings clipped back half way. The top looked a lot like your rig. I don't think the prop on the top was powered.
I find it amazing that we don't develop these modes vs. small planes.
Thanks for all the pics and someday will be down Decatur way visiting with brother and will stop in to see you...dan
Looking great! Findin' bodies from the air!
The Oxford Sparrowhawk guy flew over again Friday.
I waved from the roof.
Don't think he saw me.
