I was up flying today and took a picture of the nut behind the controls.
The other pictures are some sunlit views of a colorless Illinois.

Prescriptive codes don't address the connection at less common angles, so base the connection off more typical ones using bolts, structural screws, blocking, and steel tension ties.

I am in Illinois. North of Champaign, IL.
The lakes looks like a good fishing spot! Any change that you know about them that I could fish? How high were you 'flying'? Does that toy have heater or A.C. on it? BTW about the stairs that you just finish, how did it feel walking up or down on it? Did it move in anyway while walking on it? Very nice job, any more in the works? (And photos too?)

Blue: I do have heat...its shirt sleeve environment in the winter. The stairs I just finished were real solid.
I just totally emptied my shop..but now I have three curved stairways all layed out on the floor. My scheduling just worked out this way. I have these three to do plus another curved one in white oak...one straight one...two hickory spirals...and then two giant 180 degree stairways that are stacked from the basement to the second floor. The main stairway is freestanding as well as the serpentine balcony that will be floating with no posts underneath.
Other than that...I am just busy.....:) I still refuse to work any on weekends....but I may add an hour a day to get caught up. Its crazy around here....I am turning down stairwork..I am going to keep enjoying stairbuilding by not getting greedy. I always said I could make a lot more money by putting in more hours....but whose going to fly my gyrocopter? :)
