I have some better photos with my new camera. I have been flying this all winter..but it is going to be getting warm soon.
Just have spring fever….had to get it out and fly. It is supposed to be in the 60’s this weekend.

Prescriptive codes don't address the connection at less common angles, so base the connection off more typical ones using bolts, structural screws, blocking, and steel tension ties.

Thanks to you I just drooled all over the keyboard. What a toy!
Armin: That machine is absolutely a rush. I told my wife that taking off in that thing was the second most fun I have ever had with my clothes on....that was ok until she asked what the most fun I ever had was...I replied..."Landing it" . ZONK ouch,..sorry dear
Stan,
Looks like Frasca Field to me.....
Larry: That is the Paxton, Illinois airport...just 25 miles north of Frasca.
Hey Stan, try this when you need some fly time, but just can't get out and do the real thing.

Guess if I'm bad at that I shouldn't try the real thing hunh?View ImageGo Jayhawks
Armin: I crashed in three seconds....I think I will stick to my gyrocopter....ha
Stan,
Ever attend EAA Airventure? My sound like a dumb question but for some its a haul.
Jon
Jon: I attended OshKosh the year I got my pilots license...that was in 1983.
Stan,
I have a feeling its changed alot since them. I go nearly every year. Living 1hr. away makes it easy. Nice to here you have been flying for so long. That gyro looks like an absolute blast to fly. How much seat time did it take to feel comfortable [flying]it?

Jon: I had to train myself to fly it. I had been flying a Cherokee 180 and owned a Quicksilver MX ultralight. But a gyrocopter beings it is a rotorcraft has its own pecularities in flight. I just studied and studied..and it took a couple of weeks of taxiing ...adding more power..and just getting the feel of the machine. As soon as I was airborn...it just felt so natural. There is nothing like it at all. It will fly from 0 to 80 plus....I can go over 200 miles in it...and if the engine quits...it is just a nuisance.
Is it universal that stair guys like gyro-copters (sp)
Any pics of you flying it, or pics you have taken from it up in the air?
I am taking my camera up in a few days. I will post some pictures.
