Excuse my ignorance, but what is the difference between:
20oz, 16″ handle finish hammer
20oz, 16″ handle framing hammer
Pics of handles look the same. Heads look same…

Framing hammer usually has a textured face, to help grip the nails when driving them.
But I think a 20 oz finish hammer is a bit heavy; 16 or maybe 18oz is more typical

OK, so with waffle or without. jt8
Pretty much.
At least, thats all I can come up with.
seller may not know any better either, maybe they dont have a pic of each.
The framing head could have a straight nail puller, or is it a ripping hammer then?
Handle on finish nailer may look the same but be weighted for counter balance.
In my opinion, a good finish hammer has a narrow throat, usually metal.
