A couple of months back I installed a Delta show head replacement. It comprised of a neck T-valve diversion component, a fixed shower head, a flexible hose and a hand held shower wand (head).
Wife and I both like the change, but we wish we could find a product in which the hose with >6 feet in length. We would be happy if the hose ran five feet down from the diversion T-valve and then five feet back up to where you hang the hald-held wand (yes, 10 feet).
I have tried to find an extension for this product with no luck. I have tried to find a complete packaged solution with a 8-10 foot long hose included, no dice. Does anyone know of such a place?
I am about to begin my holiday vacation starting Tuesday and this may force me to start visiting the plumbing supply houses. And advice here?

just guessing... but I would assume they make the hose just short of reaching the floor of the shower to prevent a back flow situation...
just a guess

Don't even reach the shower pan. If I let is hang straight down it is about a foot from the bottom. Wife and I want to make it easier on us in cleaning the shower by having this want reach the far corners of the pan, and that's tak at least a couple of more feet.
The big box stores have various hose diameters on big rolls. Not sure if they have the right diameter, but they look close. Not sure how you would make the connection for the threaded ends, but take a look at what you have already and also at other less expensive handheld units to see if the connectors are transplantable.

I actually did mine this way. I have the t-valve , shower head then shower wand. The kit, excluding the shower head and neck has a verticle bar mounted at the wall with an adj. mount for the wand. The hose is 6' but I could have bought a seperate longer flex hose. It wasn't cheap, about $200 for the set up.
You should be able to go to your plumbing supplier, not L or HD, and get similar or at least the extended hose.
My hose was to long. I cut it and fixed it.
You could try looking at just hose material.
It would have to be the right color, dia, and flexibility.
There are supply houses just for hoses and such.
My hose comes out of the spout for the tub so it doesn't have to go down and then up.

If it is just 1/2" ips on either end of the hose you might find a ss braid jacketed dishwasher supply line that is at least 6ft possibly longer???

When I shortened it I had to attach the hose again.
If I used a clamp the plastic fitting wouldn't have been able to pass over it.
So I took some wire and wrapped it. It's not pretty but it doesn't leak.
If it did leak it would only be when you use the wand and it would leak into the tub.

Try one of those store that caters to Seniors. They have all sorts of bath aids and the like.
Or put in a rain head shower and run the hand held off that?
an ace hardware should be able to fix it
